Benjamin Franklin's Join or Die Flag

A Call To Arms!

Do you have an interest in 18th century history? Do you enjoy camping and the outdoors and would like to give it a "purpose?" Do you have a relative who was in the American Revolutionary War and would like to honor his memory? Would you like a way to honor all the American service men & women? Or are you just looking for a fun family hobby?

Ed Boyer on a TrekThere are many reasons why people get involved in reenacting - the excitement of the battles, the camaraderie of the extended reenactment family, and the ability to keep a key time in American history alive and in the minds of the public lead the list. The recreated Coren's Independent Artillery embraces all of these reasons in encouraging people to join the organization.

While the unit provides all the camp kitchen equipment and some tents, members are expected to purchase their own clothing and accoutrements. However, don't let that intimidate you! We have plenty of extra clothes on hand to loan you as you get your kit together.
